  1. Put a Heating Pad on Your Lower Abdomen.

Using a heating patch or bag on your lower abdomen is excellent for reducing cramp pain. The heat from the patch or bag helps to relax the muscles of the uterus. And these muscles are causation behind period cramps. Also, the circulation in the abdomen increases; thus, the pain decreases. And due to less pain, you feel less tired, and your mood will improve.

Doing a workout doesn’t mean you have to move a lot, which is barely possible during the period. It would be best if you tried to do some stretching exercises. And after the period is over, start doing workouts regularly. Studies found that if you do low-to-medium intensity aerobic exercises regularly, your cramp will be less than others. During period days, take a walk after lunch.

OTC pain relievers are pretty effective for period cramps. You can take OTClain relievers such as ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen.
