The second player draws a card from the pile. Or he draws the top card from the discarded pile.
Then do the same again and again. Try to place the card in the same position. Go on until you cannot place it in a card anymore.
Step 6: Finishing the Row
If you are able to fill all 10 slots with cards. Then you win the round.
When you start the next round, you will have 9 cards to play. Then it’ll be 8, then 7, etc.
The winner of a round with only one card in front of them is the winner of the game.
Wild Cards and How They are Played
In all but a few versions of Trash,
Kings are Wild – You can use them anywhere there is room to play
Jokers (if they are being used) are Wild too
Some people use the Jacks wild too—but usually, the Jacks and Queens are worthless cards
Wild cards will get your row filled quicker when you’re stuck.

It’s your turn.
You pull a 6 off the draw pile.
You put it in the sixth position and take up the facedown card underneath, it’s a 2.
You put the 2 in place two and take up that card, it’s a Queen.
Queens are garbage, so you put it in the trash pile. Your turn is finished.
The next player’s turn begins.
Winning the Game
There are increasingly fewer cards in your row with each turn.
The turns go on like this:
Round 1 – 10 cards
Round 2 – 9 cards
Round 3 – 8 cards
.Last Round – 1 card
If you are able to win the last round by placing your final card in its proper place, you can win the entire game.
